Booth Space Rules and Application
Excited to finally be able to say - It’s time to sign up for booth space at the
Carter County Free Fair!
Happy to be sending this email to you!! Two years is too long to go without a County Fair!! I for one, have missed the Fair and the vendors that help keep our County Fair one of the best!! Thanks for all your support!!
Hoping to have your support to help the longest surviving event in Carter County to continue (FYI- 2020 doesn’t count). We have high hopes for the County Fair to grow this year and future years, as we are adding more family orientated events. Be sure to reserve yours now!
Please be sure to bring your own tables, chairs and decorations and keep in mind, no booths will be allowed to sell food items for consumption at the event. Food Vendor spots are full at this time. If you wish to be put on the waiting list, please feel free to send us your information. You may sell orders for food products or kits for making food. Have fun! Decorate your spaces, have games and giveaways! Booths are open from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Booths MAY be open Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm if you choose. Opening ceremonies for the Carter County Free Fair will begin at 5 pm on Wednesday, September 8th. The Hardy Murphy Coliseum will be open for setup on Tuesday, September 7th from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. It will also be open at 8:00 am on Wednesday, September 8th for setup. Please check in at the Carter County Fair Headquarters when arriving for location of your space.
We ask that all vendors please remain on premises until 9:00 PM on Saturday. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made for this rule. We do have security through the final night of the County Fair. I understand that is when the sun is beginning to set on an exceptionally long weekend, but together I believe we can keep the traffic moving into and around the historic Hardy Murphy Coliseum if there are fewer holes in the booth area.
We realize that some businesses may not have the manpower to keep a booth open for this amount of time. You are welcome to put up a display and product samples for advertisement or you may choose to have your booth manned a few hours each day or evening. You will be responsible for cleaning your booth area. The Carter County Free Fair Board provides security Tuesday through Saturday night; however, they are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
There will be a $50 fee for vendors. Non-profit organizations will be charged a $10 fee if they will be using electricity. Non-Profits must provide copy of tax-exempt status for the organization.
Fill out the application enclosed and mail to the address listed to be sure you can secure your space. You may also email your information to Angie Green at cartercountyfair@yahoo.com. If you have any questions, feel free to call me at Fair Headquarters 580-224-9626.
Please plan now to attend and be a part of the 2021 Carter County Free Fair!
