Carter County Free Fair Sanctioned ADGA Dairy Goat Show

All goats entered must have a scrapie tag or approved tattoo. Absolutely NO BUCKS ALLOWED! Absolutely NO Horns allowed in the Dairy Goat classes.

2. Tattoos of all Grand, Reserve and Best of Breed winners will be checked for verification. If tattoos do not match those on the registration papers, monies and titles will be forfeited.
3. Registration and Recordation Certificates:
a. Only goats registered with ADGA, AGS or CGS are eligible to compete in registered classes. Those goats who have applied for registration with the above organizations may also compete.
b. No copies of the registration/recordation certificate or the stamped duplicate application shall be accepted by show officials.
c. Proof of ownership shall be the name on the registration, recordation certificate or stamped duplicate application.
d. Information obtained from the ADGA office via telephone, email, fax, etc. will not be accepted in lieu of the documents specified above.
4. The base date for computing the age of the animals is September 5, 2025, the date the animal is to be judged.
5. In all classes, an exhibitor is the owner of the animal as evidenced by the name on the registration or recordation certificate or on the stamped duplicate application.
6. All group classes of a breed must be made up of only those animals that have been shown in those individual classes of that breed in this show and must be entered on the official entry form.
7. There will not be a pre-show milk out. Each exhibitor is encouraged not to over udder their animals.
8. Exhibitors are requested to be neatly and appropriately attired in white (white shirt and white pants or black pants) when showing their animals in the ring.

ENTRY REFUNDS 1. Refunds for voluntary scratched or cancelled entries will not be granted. Desired refunds for entries scratched or cancelled due to exhibitor or animal injury or illness must be submitted on the appropriate cancellation form, to the livestock show office no later than 4 p.m. on the day prior to the first affected class/show. (Contact Carter County Free Fair Office for the appropriate form).
SHOW OVERVIEW • These shows are available for any exhibitor. • An exhibitor may enter and exhibit their entry in both Ring A and Ring B with a $10 entry fee per show (no fees for Carter County Residents). Example: An Alpine Dairy Goat born May 15 of the current year may be shown in Division 1530 Class 01 AND in Division 1531 Class 01. These entries would incur a total charge of $20. • In order to enter group classes, each animal must be exhibited in an individual class in the same breed and show. • Show order may be changed at the discretion of CCFF management.

10. Champion Challenge: In this class does that are permanent champions will challenge the Grand Champion for Best of Breed (excluding Unregistered Grades). (Regular entry fee applies)
11. Best Udder of Each Breed – Judge will pick one doe from each class
